One major change is in store for companies who file and pay withholding taxes electronically.
West Virginia’s Tax Department (TD) has finally rolled out a new Web site for employers who want to view and file returns or pay withholding taxes.
Also important to note: TD’s previous site for paying taxes was taken down May 15, 2008. If you want to stick with the online system, you’ll have to register with the new site.
Not only is the system more streamlined and secure than before, but the site’s main page also has a latest news section — no more digging around for press releases or updates.
